Mirko Quarto is the talented Chef from Gravina, the mastermind behind every dish featured on the menu of the Quid Restaurant. His passion for cooking and constant search for a personal vision of traditional dishes, reinterpreted with a “Michelin-starred” and contemporary touch, is what makes his cuisine truly unique. His work experiences in various local hospitality establishments allowed him to work alongside renowned chefs in the area and learn various culinary techniques with great dedication. His insatiable thirst for knowledge drove him to seek other culinary techniques and secrets in different regions of Italy.
A particularly impactful moment in his career was the maturity gained during his experience in Trentino Alto Adige, where he had the opportunity to collaborate with Chef Pierluca Ardito, the current coach of the Italian National Chefs. These precious experiences have contributed to shaping his culinary style and finding the perfect balance between technique, ancient knowledge, and flavors. His creations are an explosion of nuances, insights, and creativity, a harmonious blend of culinary tradition and contemporary innovation.
